Hypocrisy - Modern Style ? ?
Mr John Walker Bush claims to be President of USA (the only super power) having all authorities of controlling and dictating to the whole world. In fact President of USA is like a Governor General appointed by Israel. Once Israeli air force deliberately attacked a US Navy ship killing hundreds of American soldiers but American government did not dare to even raise their eyebrow. USA vetod all the UN Security Council resolutions concerning Israel. Israel is the only country that has dashed to the ground all the resolutions passed by the UN General Assembly concerning Israel. USA government talks loud about development of nuclear capability by any country in the Middle East and East, but has no courage to say a word about a large illegal arsenal of nuclear devices developed and kept by Israel. Israel is a trespasser in to neighbouring countries and, to satisfy her expansionist attitude, has murdered thousands of Palestinians including infants by target shooting and does not listen to any reason. In spite of that USA still ranks Israel as the most democratic state on earth and provides billions of Dollars in aid to Israel from money of American tax payers. USA forces attacked and ruined Afghanistan and Iraq unjustifiably linking them to fall of WTC Twin Towers but has no courage to find out why all of the Jews who worked in the towers were conspicuously absent on that day. USA also washed aside the idea of investigating why two Jews, standing on top of a nearby high building, were filming the hitting of towers by planes and the resultant destruction, and were jumping in jubilance.
Should that be said “Hypocrisy - Modern Style”

Ref: Anonymous comment at 07:12 AM on my post of Nov 24, 2004
It is true that some parents do not care for or bring up their children well or they some how (unfortunately) have some type of greed hidden in them which may attract disrespect. Love for children or for parents has to be without conditions. If that is for money or personal elevation then it is not for children and vice versa. True that character / behaviour of parent moulds behaviour of their children. A few examples are:
(1) A father, who smokes, his advice to children “not to smoke” will fall flat on the ground
(2) Some body knocks at the door. Father asks his little kid to tell the person outside that father is not at home. That will leave a scar on the conscience of innocent kid which may drag him / her to a false world
(3) If parents keep quarreling in front of their children, it will have an adverse effect on character of their children
Further, love has to be predictable from practical life not only words. If children only telephone or send cards to their parents on Fathers / Mothers Days and practically do not care, that becomes Hypocrisy. And converse is also true.
Taking the religious view, children should look after their parents in the old age in any case. In Islam, it is binding on children to look after their parents and, of course, there is a binding on parents to bring up their children well, but condition of serving parents is not tied to these bindings.
I wrote “why is this behaviour very common in those communities who are considered highly educated / developed ?”
Anonymous commenter is right to sat that “considered” is a golden word here. And that hypocrites are not developed and educated as per the Book (Qur’aan).
That is why I said 'considered'. However, if you want to see university degrees, some of them are highly qualified from foreign universities. The anonymous commenter has very rightly said:
(a) Right can be done in response to Wrong.(b) Right can be done in response to Right.
(c) Wrong can be done in response to Wrong.(d) Wrong can be done in response to Right.A high-class person will always do (a & b) above. Now, this is magnified if this was towards one's parents. Obviously, this person goes to heaven. For the person who does (c), he is ignorant and low-class. As for the main question of this post, which I understood to be related to (d), I think the person who does it WANTS to go to hell. That is my only explanation. And that “lastly, I think this question cannot be answered completely without a frame of reference. For me, what defines right and wrong above has to come from an absolute and fair frame of reference. To me, this is, undoubtedly, Islam.”

Hypocrisy World Class
In January, 2005, President of USA, John Walker Bush gave the following policy statement in his inaugural address:
So it is the policy of the United States to seek and support the growth of democratic movements and institutions in every nation and culture, with the ultimate goal of ending tyranny in our world.
Today, America speaks anew to the peoples of the world: All who live in tyranny and hopelessness can know: The United States will not ignore your oppression, or excuse your oppressors. When you stand for your liberty, we will stand with you. Democratic reformers facing repression, prison, or exile can know: America sees you for who you are: The future leaders of your free country. The rulers of outlaw regimes can know that we still believe as Abraham Lincoln did: "Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves; and, under the rule of a just God, cannot long retain it." The leaders of governments with long habits of control need to know: To serve your people you must learn to trust them. Start on this journey of progress and justice, and America will walk at your side.
The ground reality is that USA has always, not only supported military dictators, but also worked to bring rulers of her choice by demolishing popular governments through money, sabotage and using military force. Recent examples are Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq.
If USA likes democracy then why General Pervez Musharraf, who toppled with military force a popularly elected government of Pakistan, having over two-third majority in the house, is a beloved friend of Bush ? And why the popular leader along with his family has been ousted from the country against the constitution and law of Pakistan ?
Now let us see the freedom USA has already brought and is planning to bring in the world. Without any justification, USA along with it’s collaborators dropped Daisy Cutters and other bombs to free hundreds of thousands of souls of innocent people of Afghanistan including women and children (even infants) from their worldly bodies because poor Afghans could not feed their bodies well and had no proper clothing. Those who were hard to die were captured, their hands and feet tied and they were dumped in Qila Jangi (a castle) and, when the number reached thousands, USA and allied forces surrounded the castle ready to shoot any prisoner who may try to escape then came the bomber jets of allied forces and dropped bombs putting every thing including afghan prisoners on fire. What a way to liberate the hapless people of a poor nation !
USA also brought light to every dark corner of Afghanistan by changing in to rubble the buildings of Afghanistan because those buildings were hindering the light to reach every inch of the land. While bombing the USA forces did not spare women and little girls who were celebrating marriage of their dear ones. All the party including the bride became a pool of blood and pieces of flesh and bones.
Now let us go to Iraq where USA was looking for WMDs, perhaps, microscopic because no body else including UN inspectors could see those. Without any justification USA attacked Iraq and has freed hundreds of thousands of souls of innocent Iraqis including women and children (even infants) from their bodies and has made the light to reach many places by converting impressive buildings in to rubble but mission continues because hundreds of thousands of souls of Iraqis are yet to be freed and many towns of Iraq have yet to be bombed to convert the buildings in to rubble so that light reaches every inch of Iraq.
Should I make a mention of the good manners of USA which include rape, sodomy and other sexual harassments ? Who does not know what happened in Abu Ghraib and other prisons of Iraq. Same was the case in Afghanistan.
And what about over 600 innocent people from Afghanistan, Pakistan and other countries who are at Camp X-ray, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and are held prisoners without any charge for the last three years denying all human rights ? They are chained such that they can not stand and remain in bowing position. They are kept in open cages of steel rods. Their eyes are covered with opaque goggles (so they can not see) and ears with muffs so that they can not hear. Recent news says that they are subjected to beating by steel chains, electric shocks and sodomy which has become hall mark of American soldiers.
Is it not world class hypocrisy ?
