Hypocrisy World Class
In January, 2005, President of USA, John Walker Bush gave the following policy statement in his inaugural address:
So it is the policy of the United States to seek and support the growth of democratic movements and institutions in every nation and culture, with the ultimate goal of ending tyranny in our world.
Today, America speaks anew to the peoples of the world: All who live in tyranny and hopelessness can know: The United States will not ignore your oppression, or excuse your oppressors. When you stand for your liberty, we will stand with you. Democratic reformers facing repression, prison, or exile can know: America sees you for who you are: The future leaders of your free country. The rulers of outlaw regimes can know that we still believe as Abraham Lincoln did: "Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves; and, under the rule of a just God, cannot long retain it." The leaders of governments with long habits of control need to know: To serve your people you must learn to trust them. Start on this journey of progress and justice, and America will walk at your side.
The ground reality is that USA has always, not only supported military dictators, but also worked to bring rulers of her choice by demolishing popular governments through money, sabotage and using military force. Recent examples are Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq.
If USA likes democracy then why General Pervez Musharraf, who toppled with military force a popularly elected government of Pakistan, having over two-third majority in the house, is a beloved friend of Bush ? And why the popular leader along with his family has been ousted from the country against the constitution and law of Pakistan ?
Now let us see the freedom USA has already brought and is planning to bring in the world. Without any justification, USA along with it’s collaborators dropped Daisy Cutters and other bombs to free hundreds of thousands of souls of innocent people of Afghanistan including women and children (even infants) from their worldly bodies because poor Afghans could not feed their bodies well and had no proper clothing. Those who were hard to die were captured, their hands and feet tied and they were dumped in Qila Jangi (a castle) and, when the number reached thousands, USA and allied forces surrounded the castle ready to shoot any prisoner who may try to escape then came the bomber jets of allied forces and dropped bombs putting every thing including afghan prisoners on fire. What a way to liberate the hapless people of a poor nation !
USA also brought light to every dark corner of Afghanistan by changing in to rubble the buildings of Afghanistan because those buildings were hindering the light to reach every inch of the land. While bombing the USA forces did not spare women and little girls who were celebrating marriage of their dear ones. All the party including the bride became a pool of blood and pieces of flesh and bones.
Now let us go to Iraq where USA was looking for WMDs, perhaps, microscopic because no body else including UN inspectors could see those. Without any justification USA attacked Iraq and has freed hundreds of thousands of souls of innocent Iraqis including women and children (even infants) from their bodies and has made the light to reach many places by converting impressive buildings in to rubble but mission continues because hundreds of thousands of souls of Iraqis are yet to be freed and many towns of Iraq have yet to be bombed to convert the buildings in to rubble so that light reaches every inch of Iraq.
Should I make a mention of the good manners of USA which include rape, sodomy and other sexual harassments ? Who does not know what happened in Abu Ghraib and other prisons of Iraq. Same was the case in Afghanistan.
And what about over 600 innocent people from Afghanistan, Pakistan and other countries who are at Camp X-ray, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and are held prisoners without any charge for the last three years denying all human rights ? They are chained such that they can not stand and remain in bowing position. They are kept in open cages of steel rods. Their eyes are covered with opaque goggles (so they can not see) and ears with muffs so that they can not hear. Recent news says that they are subjected to beating by steel chains, electric shocks and sodomy which has become hall mark of American soldiers.
Is it not world class hypocrisy ?
