Better strategy is:
Demand less, and instead, have preferences!
For things that are beyond your control, tell yourself:
"I would prefer this, but if that happens, it’s OK too!"
This is really a change in mindset.
It is a shift in attitude, and it gives you more peace of mind.
You prefer that people are polite ...
but when they are rude, it doesn't ruin your day.
You prefer sunshine ...
but if it rains, it is ok too!

Yes thats very true indeed. Also, I believe that we cause all the bad things in our lives ourselves. We have the choice of being happy and unhappy, but mostly people choose to be unhappy. I guess people havent realized that they are very much in control of their lives - yes there are external stimuli but its all about having a direction and hence using all stimuli (be it negative or positive) in a right way.
In a few days, I'll be posting one of my ''projects'' on my blog, and I would appreciate it if you gave your comment on it. :)

Uncle, I must admit thats the biggest compliment anyone can EVER give me. JazakAllah.
Also, comicsans I try not to discuss/talk to people who are never willing to see things from another perspective - in my opinion they're the most ignorant people in the world. But I guess your example was a bit mild (:P). But yeah, simply ignore such people. Thats what I do.

I believe that a person who does not share his/her experiences with others should better have been illiterate. No, please, I do not know Mr Hussain Ahmed Ansari from Shifa manzil Bhopal. Of course I know Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan from Bhopal! By the way, are you from Bhopal? If so I want to learn lot of things from you.

Hussain Ansari is my nana.nana is from bhopal he is a muhajir.Najma Ibtullah is my nana's Bhanjee. My amma and abba are from karachi.
